Birthday Banners

I made a special birthday card this week for a relative, its her 80th birthday same day as hubby’s 50th – Can’t forget that one :O)

I really enjoyed making this one, I can see it being the template for many future cards ...

002

Stamps: Banner Builder, YOF: Mums, Big Birthday Wishes
Cardstock: Stampers Select White, Pure Poppy, True Black
DSP: Beautiful Blooms
Mediums- Real Red, old olive, Hawaiian shore
Embellishments: Basic rhinestones, black bakers twine, Pure Poppy satin ribbon
Tools – Mat pack and paper piercer, Banner Builder dies, By the Numbers Collection (8 & 0) dies, paper snips, dimensionals

And the inside

005
Oh, and the little gift from hubby for valentines ...

014

A beautiful Pandora charm, but not only a charm ... it was hanging from a gorgeous light fitting that I’ve been nagging (and I really mean nagging) him to fit for months.

018

He even cut some delicious hearts out using my craft robo – I haven’t a clue how to use it LOL

016

I’ll find a way to use these little sweeties on a layout.

He really is the best

Wow...80 years! Your card is wonderful, and I can see why you'd use it again. I know she'll love it. Also, what a sweet hubby! They're the best, aren't they?

Love the banners....perfect finishing touch for the card.
Looks like you'll have to get hubby teaching you how to use the craft robo....the hearts are gorgeous.

Fab card. I especially love the inside. Every magical detail has been tended to.

Your hubby made that? Awesome. Does he have an equally romantic and crafty brother? Oh wait I'm happily married. Plan B, does your DH run crafty seminars for uncrafty husbands?
