Still Daydreaming

Still playing, and building up a stockpile of cards, I haven’t added any sentiments to these so I can use them for any occasion and add the sentiment as required.

After seeing the gorgeous card that Debbie Olson created using the Daydreamer set last month, and just happening to still have pastel yellow on my desk I just had to have a go at re-creating it

I had a little time to play, so play I did ...

Don’t you just love those flowers {heart}

Card set gift pack

[If you’re looking for Blog Candy results see the post below]

Ever since this set arrived I’ve been itching to use it, but I went on holiday and had to leave it at home, then when I got home and what would know … no mojo! So I had a go at one of the notecards that Nichole made with it, but then I had to try it in another colourway, then another, then another ...

Summer Birthday

Its my Mother In Law’s Birthday this week, I knew the colours I wanted to use – she likes yellow, but was a little lacking in mojo when it came to the card. While musing I spied the card Monica made me for my Birthday and CASEd it, this is what I came up with

I decorated inside as well

I’ll be back tomorrow with a pack of cards I made as one of her presents.

Papertrey Play Day – Part 2 (more blog candy)

And my Project for yesterdays Papertrey Playday? - I decided not to make a card, I made a really quick and simple bookmark, I stuck to the same colour scheme and used the same stamps and dies ...

I meant to take a picture of all the kits ... but forgot!

But, I did manage to make up a few too many of the project kits, everything is in the kit to make up one bookmark and I have 2 kits available as blog candy – all you have to do to get a set is leave a comment.

The winner will be chosen at random. You have until Friday at midnight to post your comment. That is when I will choose a winner!

Bookmark instructions

This project is really simple, should only take you 5 minutes.

You should have

1 die cut, impressed bookmark

2 Ready stamped, purple/kraft dotty biscotti designer paper

3 purple? die cut flower?

4 kraft/cream dotty biscotti designer paper circle

5 purple circle

6 kraft circle with stamped flower in centre

7 stamped & die cut circle

8 ribbon

Adhere #2 to bottom of bookmark so you have a clear edge all round.

Layer 3-7 on top of one another adhering them centrally, creating a focal embellishment.

Adhere your focal embellishment to centre of bookmark

Attach ribbon

Papertrey Play Day (blog candy)

Long post, and a little picture heavy ...

Today a few of us are getting together (virtually) for a Papertrey Play Day, we’ve each made up card candy with a minimum 4 pieces in each set, and also made up a card/project kit with instructions – we’ve all swapped said card candy and card/project kits so we can spend the day today ooohhh and aahhhing over the candy and then making up the 7 kits we’ve been sent.

There are 8 of us playing, Vannessa organised us all – A Huge THANK YOU to Vannessa, all the other players are ... Melanie, Pat, Linzi, Sharon, Karin, Tina and Peechy

This is the card candy I sent out

And each piece individually

I actually made up more than I needed to send out so I have 2 sets of Card Candy I can offer as blog candy – all you have to do to get a set is leave a comment.

The winner will be chosen at random. You have until Friday at midnight to post your comment. That is when I will choose a winner!

I'll be back tomorrow with my project :O)

Bordering on Thank You

I made some Thank You cards using the same template as the Fathers Day cards I made last month, just switched them round to portrait and changed the colours – Love how they turned out!

Bonus! I can enter them into A Passion for Papertrey’s challenge: Make for the Border

I apologise for the really bad lighting ...

Just Because.

Once again I HAD to CASE another of Teneale Williams’ cards – This one screamed at me to be CASed – I love the ‘Because I Care’ stamp set, I think I could use it every day and never tire of it :O)

I especially love the backing paper, made up from the flower head repeatedly stamped – Its beautiful!

I need to get back to craft room and get inky again :O)

Birthday card

I just love how this card turned out

So, so simple but the bow gives it just that little bit of elegance.

My colouring isn’t the best, but I’ll keep practising :O)
