A Challenge

First the challenge, I’ve taken part in the A Passion for Papertrey’s challenge to work out of our comfort zones. I decided to try and work with blue – its a colour I’m definitely not comfortable with but as I needed to make a birthday card, and I knew the recipient's favourite colour is blue it had to be done. I took inspiration from this month’s PTI release, especially Maille’s designs.
014
Stamps: Circle Tags (Paula Pascual), Sentiment from Round and Round.
DSP: Beautiful Blooms, Men of Life,
Cardstock: White card blank from stash, hawaiian shores, old olive
Mediums: Real Red, hawaiian shores, basic black
Tools: Mat Stack 3 die, Basic rhinestones coloured with black copic, leaf from 2-step Bird punch, word window punch, scallop circle punch, 1-3/8 Circle Punch, Basic back 1/8” taffeta ribbon, dimensionals and glue dots.

I did love rolling those flowers, in fact I think I am now addicted, I’m sticking them to EVERYTHING! They are so easy to make and look soooo adorable!

Anyway I know the card has been safely received so its safe to post on here {wink}

I'm planning to put together a small package of PTI goodies for my blog readers, it won’t be masses and masses, just a small selection of cardstock, designer papers, ribbon and buttons. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post before Friday 28th January 13.30 GMT. I will draw a winner from those comments sometime Friday afternoon, I will open this to all European crafters.
Good luck

Wow, I always love your cards and I love rolling those flowers myself in all different sizes LOL! I've always found purple difficult, but recently I did make a card in Perfect Plum and Old Olive, and surprised myself at how nice it looked! Thanks for the inspiration as always. Love Caroline x

I love the boldness of this card - so super fun and way to use the negative of a die for your focal point! Such a creative use of that die!
