Mojo … Tuesday, Wednesday …

I went out to a crop last night, and I couldn’t help myself I had to use the Mojo Monday template again!

Stamps:  Year of Flowers - Sweet Peas, Sentiment from Round and Round (PTI)
Cardstock:  Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Old Olive, Basic White
DSP: Sweet Pea DSP Paper Stack
Mediums- Close to Cocoa, and I used some of my Copics to colour my Sweet Peas image
Embellishments: Wrong side of 3/8” Bitty Dot Satin Hibiscus Burst ribbon, SU Vintage brads
Tools – Snail adhesive, spellbinders nestabilities – labels no one, dimensionals, mat pack and paper piercer, paper cutter and scorer.

I really love how this card turned out, I just wish I’d used I different sentiment, I was thinking about my daughter as I made it and how I could use it to send to her, it’s not her birthday or anything, I just miss her and like to send her a card now and again to top up the phone calls, and we all love to receive a card in post don’t we :O)  … but then when it was finished I thought its just the sort of card my Mother in Law would love, so now I’m going to recreate it as a birthday card for MIL, so I’m afraid there’s a good chance you’ll see this design yet again in the next few days!!

Love the ribbon feature, although it did mean I had to double up on the height of the dimonsionals LOL

Oh and while I’m playing with this template look at the card on its side, its just as yummy …

Mojo Monday newbie.

After a 5-10 minutes of blog hopping yesterday lunchtime I came across the Mojo Monday Sketch Blog. I’ve never taken part before but always thought what fabulous designs they were, this Monday’s is no different! Great design and so easy to work with. I really enjoyed taking part and hope I can find the time to do so every week :O)

In fact I enjoyed that so much (probably because I didn’t have to think about a layout) I’m going to have a scroll through some past templates and see what I can create today …
