Impressabilities

I attended a workshop a little while ago run by the fabulous Paula Pascual the first session was Impressabilities: making cards with those lovely intricate embossing templates, they look so fragile you wouldn't believe you can put them through a Big Shot and they can survive, but they do, and they did - Here's what I made in the workshop:

I didn't quite get time to finish this card, and completely forgot until now that I still haven't finished it! - All it needs is a few square diamontes across the middle band - Will rectify that tomorrow. Isn't it a beautiful card, and so simple to make. I love that die.

Another Christmas Card, I love that we made Christmas Cards, gives me more ideas for this Christmas - I have so many to make. This one looks really complicated but once you have the design I promise you its easy - I managed to smudge the 'perfect pearls' I need something to 'set' them - anyone got any ideas?

I really, really love the template we used on this card, unfortunately they didn't have one left in the shop so I have to add it to my 'wish list', the die is gorgeous too :O)

Recipe:

Designer Papers: My Minds Eye - Pretty Please Collection
Cardstock: Bazzill: Various colours (not noted, sorry)
Impressabilities: Flowers, Snowflakes
Dies: Cuttlebug Cut & Emboss 3x3 Combo Ice Crystal
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Classic Scallop Circle Large, Scallop Square Large. Spellbinders Shapeabilities - Flower Creations.
Inks: Brilliance Pad Black Starlite, Versafine Black
Perfect Pearls: Pearl and Perfect Gold.

All the cards we made were so easy once we were shown what to do, Paula is a great teacher.

I'll post pictures of the cards and the little box we made in the session tomorrow.

Oh wow wee!! I have some impressabilities but wasn't too sure what to do with them - now I do LOL!! They are very flimsey aren't they? I think you can cut them up too, but I don't think I'd have the heart to!!

Hope you're well, love catching up on your blog as always - take care
